From the airport:
- By Metro: change line twice (3 lines) until you get to Sol (several alternatives). At Sol come out at the Calle Mayor exit and after 20 metres turn left into calle Esparteros, the first stret on the left is Viudo de Pontejos. (Price: single journey, €1, 10 journeys, €7)
- By Taxi: around 20 minutes (depending on the traffic) for about €25-30. Take the NII motorway towards Madrid which will take you to Avenida de América, go straight on until the Paseo de la Castellana, turn left into the Paseo de la Castellana until La Cibeles. At Cibeles turn right, there are two streets, the one on the left will take you to Sol.
- By Metro: direct to Sol station on line 3. At Sol come out at the Calle Mayor exit and then walk for 20 metres before turning left into calle Esparteros. The first street on the left is Viudo de Pontejos. (Price: Single journey, €1, 10 journeys, €7).
- By Taxi: go up calle Atocha, at the end on the right you will find Plaza Santa Cruz. Go straight on into calle Esparteros, the calle Viudo de Pontejos is a perpendicular street on the right.
- We recommend that you use the metro as it is the fastest way of reaching the centre of Madrid and the traffic in Madrid is very heavy for most of the day with frequent traffic jams, especially at rush hour.
